Courtney Love and I were in Australia. There was a raging, full, really swollen river to one side and a bit of desert on the other. She and I were cutting hearts and girls and boys into a thin metal sheet to make a garland. It was painted pink on one side and red on the other. We folded up some of it to give it crimps.
We didn’t really talk about anything important. We just sort of hung out and made metal garlands while this river raged next to us.
Then I ran off to play some soccer with some hooligans and we made towers out of milky glassed gravy boats.
